I love both Az and Portland.   Portland must be a federal bridge testing 
zone, because they have the most eclectic collection of massive brideges 
I have seen.  When I go to Portland, I take an empty suitcase for 
Powells, only city I check luggage for.    Az is great too.  Coming from 
Texas, I love the heat, and have often said it can't get too hot if it 
is dry enough.  After working with a client in Tuscon for a few years I 
have found that at around 110 degrees and over, dry doesn't matter, its 
just too hot.     Strangley enough I will say that Newark is one of my 
favorite towns too.
