What do you guys think? And, how do you set up your anvils, in regards to
long-term location?
I mounted my 200 pound Kohlswa on concrete. I made a form of 1/2" plywood
that is wider at the bottom and tapers to approximately anvil width at the
top. I set in a couple of strategically based bolts and anchor the anvil to that
with some chain and bolts. Greased the sides with motor oil and poured about
four bags of concrete to fill the form.I can move it readily around my
concrete floor and still have a 320+ pound base. I also left some all thread
sticking out the sides to hang on tables, tools, etc.
