Dave,
I have to agree with this post. Although I try to stay on topic, once in a
great while I manage to get off track. As a matter of fact I don't really
consider myself a blacksmith. I play at it but not too often cause my
strengths and most of my business involves welding and fabrication. Still
I've managed to answer a few questions about welding mostly and have seen a
more than fair amount of stuff on this list concerning welding, fabrication,
metallurgy, running a business, including contracts, pricing work
etc.,electrical work, engineering problems, and on and on. Whatever
happened to the value of OT in the header and the delete button? I think
you have to leave a little room here for people to express themselves. To
me, blacksmithing only would be a bore. BTW, respectfully, isn't one of
your main interests, one which you discuss on this list, tinknocking, it's
practice, tools, etc., welcome?
