Dave,
I do not think anyone is starting a political rant.
Those do happen every now and then. It gets boring pretty quick and we
move on.
All topics wear out eventually , and this list is better at playing nice
than most are.
These things do help us get to know each other as a community.
I for one am interested in what the folks here have to say about mostly
anything.
If someone desires advice on something I feel honored to be asked.
If it were not for these types of digression there would be nothing
asked that could not be answered with a FAQ,
"Look in the archives dummy",
"Check Ron Reil on Google"
Or go to "http://www.metalsmithinghow-to.com/", "ABANA.org" etc.
This list would grind to a halt.
I have always enjoyed being here because it was much more like sitting
around sipping a brew with some friends, of common interest , than a class.
Just my one cent worth.
