hi Andy,
you can play with the options under "filter". I like "crosshatch" which 
is a sub...under brush strokes. I'd start in Brush strokes, Artistic or 
Sketch for starters. But there are many different filters that may work 
for you. You'll have to play with them, to find what you like best.
