[TheForge] Small power hammer question

Here is the one I am talking about:

I am wanting to merge the 2 designs, but using a mountain bike wheel and gears to control speed.
I think I might be under engineering this, but it will be only a 25# hammer.
According to my calculations, the rotation will only be equal to about 10 mph, and the force should be less than me bouncing down a hill on a bike, but want someone to double check my thinking here.
