Hi all,

Not sure if any of you dabble in jewelry making, but as there seems to
be a few blade smiths, you might what to take a look at

Traditionlly the Japanese used this technique to decorate the sheaths
and handles of the swords and knives they made. Its a similar idea to
Demascus steel only with precious metals. I'm going to give it a go
with brass, copper and silver first.. and then move on to gold.
(eventually).. let me know if any of you know of this already.. i may
have some questions.
