[TheForge] welding cast iron

[Jerry Smith]

Is this real iron, the pure element or mixed with slag
or just mild steel? I haven't read everything on this
thread. 

For some reason I seem to remember somebody telling me
a while ago to use nickle electrodes (rods) if I was
going to stick weld iron.
