reminded me of this whole thing from a book about Richard Feynman, where
he gets into a long list of reasons about why manhole covers are round,
and none of them is the "correct" answer ("so it won't fall in"). I
remember it being an especially enjoyable part of the book  (although I
don't remember what book it was).

Well, any ways, back to lurk mode...
