Our president of the Great Plains Blacksmith Association is also an one armed blacksmith and a damn fine one at that.
He got one of those fancy electronic prothesis that pick up the nerve signals in the stump to open/close the grip. For forging he had to switch back to the old style mechanical prothesis because the heat would screw with the electronics.
With my two hands I wish I was half the blacksmith he is.
