[TheForge] Super Quenched Dies?

Probably not a good idea for a power hammer.

Critical point: SUPER QUENCH is intended for MILD STEEL only, nothing over
45 points of carbon or other alloys.

Also for something the size of power hammer dies you probably need 20-30
gallons. I have quenched treadle hammer dies in 5 gallons and after doing
just a few, the liquid became so hot that the effectiveness of the
quenching is questionable. The tools stopped making the classic
"superquench SCREAM" which is an indicator of successful quenching.

All the literature talks about using SUPERQUENCH for hand tools and treadle
hammer tools. I don't remember anyone recommending them for power hammer
dies.

Given the power and speed of a power hammer and your close physical
proximity to the hammer, you probably do not want to experiment with
something like this.
