Justin,
That would likely be the most immediate route. I even wonder if the sawzall
was wandering because I was applying too much pressure and bending the
blade. Made me think the jig saw might be more tricky. But would
definitely do better for curves with the 1/4" wide blade, than the 1" blade
on the sawzall. Dang 1/4" copper is soft enough I thought it would cut
faster... patience...patience.

I cut both aluminum and copper up to 1/4" with a fine-tooth metal
cutting blade in a jig saw. And sheet steel for that matter. Wear eye
pro.
