[TheForge] Drilling holes in rods

Don,
How about a mod of the following tool.  Start with a V-belt pulley,
with OD a little less from the ID of your ring.   Drill the valley of
the V straight down toward the shaft hole of the pulley.  Now cut away
all parts of the pulley "in the way" and mount a  drill bit on a
flexible shaf tool.  This leaves you a tool that fits inside the
already-formed ring (made from the rod).  Hence, you drill each hole
from the inside of the ring.  No shifting of holes when forming the
ring.
