None the less, if you notify the police, you're on the moral and legal high
ground.
You've filed a complaint- if they don't do anything about it, they have a
problem. In the mean time, if the next time the yammerhead calls, you
'accidently" have some obnoxious sound that happens to blast into your
receiver, well, accidents happen...

I'd strongly suggest against calling them back, though, from your phone.
That would indicate you have a relationship oif some sort with the caller.
