Welcome to the list Jason. Be sure to log onto
BladeForum also.
Look for the "one brick forge". Lots of help is
available but start with reading, a lot! Get your
hands on Wayne Goddard's book "The 50 dollar Knife
Shop". It will adict you, and there's no cure.
