I'm the other Mike but: I haven't read all of that good stuff yet but
I'm sure I saw something indicating the overtones of tubular chimes
are all different from strings, horns and all those things we're used
to.  I'm thinkingg the vibrational geometry is likewise weird but I
can't (yet) point to chapter & verse.

I'm going to go out tonight and hang my piece of bombsight at
22.42% as close as may be and see what I get.

BTW, couple of days ago I started up the little generator that had
given me trouble with its mag field.  I was going to try the electric
drill start trick and report on it here.  But dang!  It lit right up
from the get go.
