FYI, Dyes in plastics help prevent break-down due to sun exposure. 
White plastics typically break down faster than colored ones.  The
darker the color, the better.

No, but I will.  You could get strength with thinner diameters.  I
imagine
the sun will break down the parachute cord I have it hanging on now.
