Don: you're going to have trouble getting such a small run made unless they
already have the tooling. If they have to cut the die you can expect at
least a couple hundred just for the die. Of course you won't have to pay for
the die on subsequent orders.
The spinning shop may just figure you're not going to be interested when you
see the price. On the other hand they probably have a decent backlog of
work.
Regardless, getting a dozen hemis anywhere not off the shelf isn't going to
be cheap.
