[TheForge] ot testing a washing machine motor.

hello;

the maytag washer is acting up. i have narrowed the problem down to
either the timer or the motor. i have a wiring schematic for the machine
but it is not clear how the start windings are energized and
de-energized. it is a single speed motor. any hints, suggestions,
comments as to how to test the motor would be appreciated.
