[TheForge] Interesting scam

The scam is that the $6500 cashier's check is phony. It'll look so real
that it will fool most locations. So the bank credits your friend for
$6500. Then he sends the $4500 to the scammer, and says "Come pick up your
stuff". At this point the scammer disappears. Your friend thinks "Ok, no
big deal. I've got $2000 and the equipment". But then he finds out that the
check didn't really clear, and now the bank removes $6500 from his account.
He's now out $4500. And with Western Union the guy might say he's going to
get the money in London (or wherever) but he'll be able to get it anywhere,
so you can't have the cops waiting for him to get his money.
