I agree with Mike Spencer... in a perfect world Walter may be correct, but
in practice its VERY difficult to get the on-square hole lined up properly.
On-diamond I think is a little more forgiving. Ultimately its going to
depend on the size of the stock, a 1/2 inch hole through 2 inch stock aint
gonna matter but 1/2 thru 1/2 it will..
