I always figured that deer that raid the garden are really there to
volunteer for the freezer.... and they know that by raising one's
territorial ire, that they have relieved us of the attendant guilt of
doing them in.
Also, figuring that one deer is generally enough, I drag the offal
around said garden for a while to establish a lasting scent. That seems
to last till the freezer's empty again.
Now racoons are another story....not nearly so sensitive and a lot
harder to keep out. Pete F
