Does this material in the tube have a consistency that would hold
something horizontal?
Hi Ralph
This product is quite viscous right out of the tube. It's flow is a great
advantage in the vertical holes. But I have had pretty good horizontal sets
with some of the construction stuff...like the new Phenoseal. I would also be
interested in what others are using for horizontal sets.

I used to have some of that ram wool......which was a lead steel wool
like substance.....but ran out of it. Does anyone know of a source for
that? It used to work well in horizontal positions.
I used to use that lead wool for packing 4" steam lines and sewer lines but
have not seen any lately, either. But good ol' Google tells me Fry Technology
has it for $13.39 for a 5# box.
