Don,
How long does this material take to set? Where did you buy it? Thanks.

Regarding the Polygem Liquid Concrete Repair...I bought it from Calbar, Inc
in Phila 215-739-9141. It comes in various degrees of hardness when finally
set. Kinda like wood, lead and steel hardness. I used lead. It begins to set
up in about a half hour and about 4 hours to be firm. Temperature can make a
difference. We were doing a lot in some pretty cold days (low thirties) and it
was significantly slowed. Polygem has a pretty good web site perhaps they
identify suppliers there. I rechecked my invoices and it was $16.60 per
cartridge. Pricey but very, very tough stuff.
Incidentally, I drilled holes in marble for the legs using a 2" carbide
tipped hole saw. I had bought two but only used one for a dozen or so holes.
Drill as deep as you can, then chip out and drill some more. I dont know just how
tough a material the carbide tipped whole saws will work in but they are a
lot cheaper than renting or buying a diamond tipped hole saw.
