Bob, That's your best bet, to try a piece. It is different to work with.
It is soft enough vice grips or sharp tongs tend to mar it, but you can
instantly tell it's much softer than steel.
The real funny thing about it is it's very forgable in the yellow and high
red, then gets a bit tougher in the mid red range, but at the dull red and
high black it's extremely workable again.
When you try filing it - you'll love that part. It rolls off under your
file - feels really different.
