Interesting concept, especially if your ways are already worn? a little
stickum to goob things over... I will take you word for it, and if I ever
encounter way jerkiness, I will apply stickum liberally. it would still
attract dirt, though...
Unfortunately, the most common use of way oil is a bumpkin machinist excuse
for not pumping the manual lubricator unless threatened with bodily harm;
such as: "I don't need to pump that thang, it's still oily, see?" says the
bumpkin as he points to the black slime that was once the precision bed ways
of the $22,000 engine lathe... grrrr.
