Mike

The paraffin just firms up the stick and makes it easier to work with. I'm talking the stuff you get at the grocery store for canning (cheap). Just run the lub stick against the blade for a revolution. No fuss and no mess. the lub stick can set on the shelf beside the saw forever. No cans, jars or what to mess with. I raise bees, the toilet papers cores are free and all I have to do is swipe a block of canning wax from the wife. Use an old tin can on top of the forge (gas) to melt. Pour in paper core (best to stand the core up on a piece of wax paper, making a short pour to plug off the bottom first). And, you are good to go.

Later

Will
