I had an orange tom that kept spraying in the shop, which i hate. So i 
got a squirt bottle of amonia finally ( plain water didn't make enough 
impression) and was waiting. I was working at the treadle hammer when i 
saw him sneak in out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head to hiss 
at him, spot the ammonia bottle and brought the treadle hammer down on 
my thumb. It was a mistake. It was a lesson the cat did not learn. My 
thumb was very flat.
Living where we do, we have a choice of cats or rodents. Sometimes we 
wonder if  the rodents wouldn't be more tractable.....Pete F
