Dan,
Some customers can be a pain. A lady asked me to do a job for her but when
I told her it would be two weeks before I could start on it she started
telling me how to run things. Her attitude told me I didn't want her for a
customer and she would never be satisfied. She asked if I knew someone else
and I called a friend who said he could complete the project in two weeks. I
told him but he insisted. He would have been better off had he just gone
fishing for a month. I guess you're right about pilots, since I am one.

Knowing when to walk away is a plus.
They don't always "reverse to save the deal", so learning to cut losses is a
must.
In addition ,I get them to sign a release(waiver) so it can't come back on
ya.
Didn't have that many , but it was satisfing to me and the men to leave the
bad ones.
Being close to Atlanta airport, I got lots of pilots wives. Boy, I hate to
lump a group together, but they were always
too hard to work for. Course the pilot knew something about everything. And
would tell you.
Regardless, give more than they paid for, and you will get MORE work.
