and analyzed by a wide range of opinions and viewpoints. You can subscribe 
to the list and hopefully offer your experience or partake in other's 
knowledge.

As you note, it does not say anything about discussing ABANA, just 
blacksmithing and related stuff.

Although I have been a member of this list almost from inception, I wasn't 
there when the why's and wherefore's of the list sponsorship were 
decided.  There are others on this list though who were there at the 
beginning and who may know more.
