Is this really so?  When I joined the list here is what I got:

I don't see anything about it being an official arm of ABANA.  It says it's 
for discussing metalwork or blacksmithing, but says nothing about it being 
the place to discuss ABANA business.

But what the heck, I'm not a member.  I just look for the occasional post 
about metalwork and blacksmithing.
