	Yeah, that's another big part of it.  The root of our troubles
	seems to be the lottery mentality that so many of us have 
	adopted... getting by on someone else's nickel.  It's the
	cornerstone of our culture these days and underpins more aspects
	of our lives than I think many folks would suspect.  Just because 
	we are free to be this way, does it follow that we should follow
	the path so many of us do?  We/ve painted ourselves into something
	of an unpleasant corner and getting out is probably going to be
	rather unpleasant.
