I prefer not to mention him by name in this public forum.  Some here know 
who I'm talking about, others don't.  It's just as well to leave it that way.

This is what the flame holder on the Hans Peot style forced air burner 
does.  It takes that turbulent air gas mixture and changes it to a more 
stable laminar flow just before it enters the combustion area.
