My grandfather was a golfer and lived over there so he could take the cart
home from the 9th hole for lunch. I used to go to the pool at the clubhouse
as a kid. Capitol City Country Club? was it? Lots of Spanish moss and
humidity. There was a Civil War earthworks/fort remnants a block or so away
from their house. I remember the area the way it was twenty years ago, I
hope not too much has changed.
Back to blacksmithing!
Have faith in the trash piles they probably are a good resource of old
metal in that neighborhood
