Looks like another urban legend to me. Or, perhaps your McDonalds is 
testing something new on you.
No mention of this in the annual report, and the McDonalds web site 
listing of ingredients show no mention of soy being used.
"Beef patty: 100% pure USDA inspected beef; no additives, no fillers, no 
extenders."
Soybean oil is used in the sauces and light mayonnaise though.
When did they ever offer "good food"?
