[TheForge] Vise Prices

I would say it's worth $150 easy. Post vises in general sell too
cheap. In relation to how much you need one and how hard it
would be to make your own anyway.

The only thing keeping the price down is that there are tons of
them out there. I am a sucker at an auction for a $20 post/leg vise
of any size and almost any condition. That's why I have a dozen
in various states of repair in my shop and shed. I keep thinking
that eventually they will all be worth $100+.

I did sell a nice 5" vise a few years ago at a tailgate sale for $150.
It was complete and ready to mount and in very good shape. The
buyer, a busy professional smith, looked at the $150 tag and said
I'll take it. That's another problem. Most buyers are hobbyists and
want to steal everything.
