Just a note re. sending me email:

I've had it with spam and have finally turned on my somewhat draconian
home-brew spam filter that I've been testing for a year.

If you should happen to send me private email and I fail to reply, try
posting a heads-up here on TheForge to let me know and I'll whitelist
your address.


My filter deletes spam from the POP3 server before I ever see it.
It's based on blocks of IP addresses known to harbor spammers plus the
SORBS DNSBL and I have no way of knowing if perhaps some of y'all
happen to have ISPs that use those blocks.  So far, the testing hasn't
turned up any smiths on blacklisted net blocks but that's no
guarantee.  Australia, in partiular, might get caught in some Asian
netblock that I over-zealously extended while trying to block China.
