I shot a bunch of pictures of SF magazine covers using a tripod. I think 
an angled stand would work a lot better. Since my setup was held 
together with baling wire (as is typical for me), it wasn't very 
convenient and I had lots of image parallax to correct later at the 
computer. Next time I'll build a stand with angled supports for the camera:
