Been a while since I've done this...is the common rule for picket spacing, "4 inch sphere can't go through" or "4 inch space is ok"? Building a rail where 5" spacing with 1" pickets would be just ducky...but will precisely 4 inch gap be able to pass? Thanks! Andy G.
