Hi
I made one years ago with the New York State Blacksmiths. We had a form
made and used a ram able refractory in it to make a bottom floor that goes
over the insulation board. I don't know how the Kaowool will last as the
ceiling. Check furnace suppliers for the board. Also "Y" your gas line and
use two ball valves, one for each burner and two short pieces of pipe
instead of a long one with the jets as it will make getting it adjusted
much easier.
