I think you can run 2/3 to 3/4 of the power of your supplying motor. You
mean electricity costs? Well figure how much it will cost to get 3 phase
hooked up, then figure out how long that will pay the power bills for, for
me it would be many years. 3 phase is cheaper per KW though but a phase
converter is a quick and cheap way to run 3 phase machinery.
