Banging On the Bayou 2004
It's that time again. LAMA's 2004 conference - "Banging On the Bayou" is
set for Saturday and Sunday March 13 and 14, 2004 at the grounds of Beaver
Park in Lafayette, LA. This years conference is to be a great two day
event. Sign-in starts at 9:00 AM and professional blacksmith demonstrators
Elmer Roush and wife Lynda Metcalfe are lined up for some eye popping
techniques. Demos by LAMA members will be offered on phases of smithing
from basic techniques, non-ferrous metal work to basics of design and
drafting your ideas. Lunch will be available both days. An auction in the
evening and raffle drawing for a box of handmade blacksmith tools will

Admission for members is only $35 Prior to Mar. 1 or $40 thereafter, for the
