Yes I do have opinions, thanks for asking (grin)
Ok, OK humor aside. I would think that the cushion would be more for the
sound silencing that for anything else. If you have some old asphalt
shingles about or some roofing felt or even a mud flap you can try
those. Or you can do as a few buddies have, put some RTV down where the
anvil will rest.
