Dave,
The first one was for my wife, just in a vase for now. I have a friend that
has a flower shop, she wanted me to make her a sign, I thought that haveing
steel flowers on the sign would be a nice touch.
In general I just wanted to add another skill to what I can do. I didn't
want to wait for a commission to figure out how to do it and make it look
right. I want to have somethings on my table at sales that give the customer
an idea of what is possible. It always amazes me that some people can look
at one thing and can't make the leap in thear mind that I can make the same
thing with a different design. I had one lady say that she wanted custom
towel bars for her bathroom, but she wanted white and I only made black
stuff. Excuse me, I guess she thought someone else had white steel.

Bob,
What are you planning to do with the roses? Do you have some project that
you're going to incorporate them into? Will you build a vase and put one
in it? Or will you make them part of the design for a table or candle
holder or railing or .....?
