Bruce,
Just out of curiosity, why is it you do not believe this? At least any
more so than 'stats' showing the opposite?

If you look at the violent crime rates in Aust and England you will see
that they did go up. DO not know if it was due to the gun confiscation
laws or if it is due to criminals just getting more violent. Also why is
it that in some locations in Britain that the 'bobbies' are now carrying
firearms?
