Mikey,
I got my paterns from the book "best of Chapter news letters" available
from ABANA.
It said that they originated with Dorthy Steigler. They range from 2" to 4"
by half in incriments, the 2" has 4 petals the rest have 5. I don't know
much about rose types but I would guess they are more of a cabbage since I
couldn't get the center as tight as I wanted. I'm hoping that cutting deeper
will let me make more of a bud.

What kind of roses are they. Ron Reil showed me patterns for cabbage roses,
but I have seen (35 years ago) Perfect tightly rolled Tudor roses and buds.
Ron
said there was a woman who taught a course on how to make that kind of rose,
but I never did find out who. This is an ongoing ambition with me. Does
anyone
know where to search out the pattern?
