Jim,
I've made three sets now and have figured out how to do it with minimal
pain. I use straight cuts to seperate the pieces. Then I cut around them
like making a disk, then trim the triangles out from between the petals.
What killed me on the first flower was trying to cut the curves with a lot
of excess material on them. I also figured out how to twist the petals to
look like a fan so I could get between them to clean up on the sander.

Bob i use a band saw to cut out all my flowers and leaf's it saves a
lot of time and sore hands jim.o.
