Aside from the compressor and storage, I would like to here more about
NG straight from the line.
I use a blown NG for when I do not have the time to fire up my coal
forge. I have heard the term Dan Fogg Design applied to what I have.
I have only welded in it once, but have reduced many 1/2 pieces of metal
to sparklers when not paying attention. So it does get hot enough. Line
pressure off of the pressure regulator is 6" water column plus or minus
.25 inches. depending on what else I have fired up. ( There are two
furnaces, a boiler, two water heaters, three dryers, two soldering
furnaces and two stoves on this same meter. When a bunch of them come on
all at once there is a pressure drop.)
