I never tried to figure out the savings, but anything at the rising
propane prices is good. And it's a nothing thing to do. I decided not to
use the more complicated idler manifold on my new forge and just have a
needle valve in there. One quick flip and I'm idling.
More importantly, though, is the lower heat it puts in the shop during
the summer. By the way, I'm in NH, so while it's not as cold as some MN
areas, it's not all that much of a warmer climate :-)
