I've had problems in Georgia with high humidity.  This works well.  If =
you
let them get too cold before you burn some wax on them, they will turn
red/rust.

Also, for some reason, the bolts that had zinc on them rusted worse and =

had a hard time getting the red off.

I have heated bolts to red then wirebrushed them and treated with paste =
wax=20
when they were at black heat and had nice black bolts. Use plenty of=20
ventillation when you remove whatever was coating the bolt with the =
brush.=20
